RefinedKind Pet Products Design Contest
RefinedKind Pet Product is sponsoring a design contest open to all designers to develop the next line of pet products.
Upon registration you will be provided a link to five product briefs. You may may submit designs for one or all of the product briefs listed.
Prize: Total Prizes awarded could be up to $5,500. Each of the five product briefs may have a winner who will receive an award of $1000. Ties are possible, which each winner receiving the award amount in full. If a designer wins first prize for 2 or more briefs, they will receive an additional $500.
Winning designs become property of RefinedKind. All rights, include reproduction and fabrication, to the designs are assigned to RefinedKind.
This competition is free to all participants. Eligibility extends to all students, designers, engineers, and inventors from anywhere in the world. Contestants must be over the age of 18.
Your submission must be in English, and should consist of no more than 4 pages per design and a short written explanation of no more than 500 words.

Each competitor must warrant that it owns the copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights in the design except as to material owned by others whom the competitor discloses in its submission.
Submission Guidelines Competitors can submit hand drawings or CAD. Use of color and photographs are acceptable. A cover page must be supplied with the designers, Name, Address, Phone Number, Email and Registration id. Each page of the design should be labeled with the designer’s name and registration id. Each design submitted should include an isometric view, top view, and side view. Up to 10 designs for each product brief may be submitted

Mailed entries must be post marked by March 31st, 2008
JPG, EPS, or PDF are acceptable forms of submission
Judging Process Entries will be evaluated on: -Functionality and Usefulness -Aesthetics -Marketability -Cost to manufacture -Adherence to product brief
Winners will be notified by May 30th, 2008
